A Little About Me

At Blue Sage, I’m all about creating spaces that look amazing and make everyday life a little easier. Whether it’s a cozy family room or a functional office space, my goal is to blend beauty with practicality in a way that just feels right for you.

After graduating with my Interior Design degree from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) back in 2013, I jumped headfirst into the design world. I spent several years designing everything from schools and hospitals to restaurants, retail spaces, and homes while working at some of Portland’s top architecture firms.

Later on, I switched gears and dove into the world of architectural sales — where I gained a whole new appreciation for the materials and finishes that really bring a design to life. Think: wallcoverings, tile, lighting, furniture, window treatments — all the good stuff. That insider knowledge helps me choose the right pieces, not just the pretty ones.

What sets me apart? I bring both the creative vision and the behind-the-scenes know-how to every project. Anyone can throw together some throw pillows and call it a day, but understanding how materials hold up, feel, and function in real life? That’s where I shine.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me spending time with my amazing husband (my biggest cheerleader), our sweet son, and our three beautiful daughters. We’re a family who loves aviation, adventure, faith, and making the most of this wild, wonderful life.
